Before coming to Stark, I felt great. I was at 14% body fat, exercised regularly with pilates three times a week and TRX twice a week. At the recommendation of a Stark client I decided to try it for a month. My intention was to change up my workouts for a short time, then go back to what has been working for me. I was impressed by the insight the bio-signature hormonal analysis gave the Stark. The goals I stated were to improve all around...gain muscle, lean out, and increase my energy. Through my goals and "bio-sig" a fully customized diet and exercise plan was mapped out. By the end of my 30 days, I had lost 2% body fat, gained lean muscle mass, and had energy through the roof! I felt so good, I decided to continue with Stark a bit longer. I didn't have any problems with sleep before coming to Stark, or at least I didn't think so. The improvement in my sleep patterns alone was worth the cost. Today, I sleep like a 5 year old. I have now been working out with Stark for 9 months. Today I'm roughly the same weight, and have decreased my body fat percentage from 14% to 8%. Each month I see improvement. My body fat goes down, my muscle mass increases, my energy level remains high all day, and I sleep like a baby. As I said, I felt great when I first arrived at Stark. I now see that as a very relative view. I would have seriously sold myself short if I continued with what I thought was working for me. Instead, Stark challenged me, and now I'm operating on a much higher level.

Eighteen months ago I went to Brad Davidson at Stark Training for a consultation. I have been an athlete most of my life, but have been suffering with neck and back pain for the past several years due to overtraining. I have scoliosis and degenerative disk disease in my neck, yet I refused to slow down where exercise was concerned. Ironically, while I looked fit, I was actually not very strong. I started practicing martial arts about five years ago, compounding the problem. Since I was unwilling to give up my lifestyle, I decided to find someone who could help me optimize my physical strength and power and reduce my pain. I wasn’t sure if there was hope to eliminate my pain due to the scoliosis. Stark is no regular gym, and the trainers are not typical trainers. My consultation took over 90 minutes. Brad identified my strengths and weaknesses and came up with a personalized plan based on my need for spinal stabilization and my desire to increase my power for martial arts. This is no small feat, since these two issues tend to contradict themselves.
Within 6 weeks I had NO BACK PAIN AT ALL!! I have been free of pain for the past eighteen months. Additionally, when I started training at Stark I could not do even two pull ups, now I can do FOUR SETS OF TEN PULL UPS!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN STRONGER!
